WORLD SMILE DAY®

In 2002, under gray skies, hundreds of Worcesterites gathered once again on Worcester City Hall Plaza to observe World Smile Day®. After the completion of opening ceremony speeches, the smiling participants donned yellow and black ponchos to form the world's largest human smiley face.
